After defeating the boss, the demo ends with a short little video presentation showcasing the game's characters. It starts you off near the beginning of the game and allows you to play completely up to the game's first boss encounter. The demo lets the player to start off with either of the game's two selectable characters, Mint and Rue. The game has a very cool artistic style and could easily end up being one of the year's top titles. Threads of Fate Formerly titled Dewprism, Threads of Fate is the sole interactive demo on the second disc that is of a game that won't be out at the time of Vagrant Story's release.

After a few of the CG cut scenes, it goes into the game where the player is thrust through a tutorial that instructs the player on how to play the game. The demo starts you off at the very beginning of the game, so players will get to see a few of the initial opening FMV sequences that'll surely make any fan of large mech robots wet in anticipation. If you haven't already picked this one up, the demo should help give you some incentive. It's an excellent game that was given an 8.8/10 by a member of our review staff. The demo included on the CD allows players to participate in a three-lap race with Chocobo being the playable character. It's filled with funny one-liners, provides a good amount of bonus, and is.well, very cute.
